MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (Dec. 5, 2019) – State Road 37 is shifting from 24-7 restrictions to temporary lane closures when needed for Martinsville overpass construction.
S.R. 37 may temporarily be reduced to one lane in either direction when crews are installing overhang forms and reinforcing steel on the Grand Valley Boulevard bridge in preparation to pour new concrete decking and railings. These lane closures are for the safety of motorists and the bridge crews working over the highway.
Traffic should stay alert for changing traffic patterns and avoid distractions in the work zone, which has a 45 mph speed limit.
