MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (March 18, 2020) — State Road 37 northbound was reduced to one lane this week between Liberty Church Road and S.R. 39. Speeds are reduced to 45 mph in this area and motorists should be aware of merging traffic.
Significant traffic stoppages will affect both directions of S.R. 37 in this area next week for up to three nights between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Each night traffic will be stopped five times for up to 20 minutes at a time to safely string new power lines across the highway. Motorists can expect lengthy delays and should avoid the area if possible.
On or after Monday, March 23, drivers should expect one day of temporary lane closures near the Grand Valley Boulevard overpass in Martinsville. A bridge crew will be delivering material and working over S.R. 37 lanes.
