Minor construction activities are continuing throughout spring and summer 2025 to officially complete the I-69 Finish Line project.

Upcoming Traffic Alerts:

  • Southbound and northbound Meridian Street under I-465 will continue the single right-lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, June 20, for curb work. The lane closure will extend from David Lind Drive to Southern Plaza Drive. One lane will remain open in both directions during this work.
  • Westbound I-465 between Carson Avenue and Keystone Avenue will have a two-lane closure from 9 p.m. on Monday, June 16 through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17.
  • Crews will be active on the Mann Road bridge over I-465 from 9 p.m. Monday, June 16, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 17.
  • The entrance ramp from northbound US 31/East Street to eastbound I-465 will be closed on the evenings of Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • The exit ramp from northbound I-69 to County Line Road is expected to be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, June 20, through 5 a.m. Saturday, June 21.
  • Westbound I-465 between I-65 and Harding Street is expected to have a two-lane closure from 9 p.m. Friday, June 20, through 5 a.m. Monday, June 23. Additionally, the entrance ramp from northbound US 31/East Street to westbound I-465 will be closed as part of this work.
  • The right lane of northbound and southbound Harding Street is expected to be closed between Epler Avenue and the I-465 ramps from 9 p.m. Friday, June 20, through 5 a.m. Monday, June 23.
  • Various lane and/or shoulder closures are possible throughout the project limits for final construction and inspection activities. Road-striping operations will require mobile closures.
    • Intermittent nightly lane closures are expected on eastbound and westbound I-465 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Monday, June 16, and running through Saturday, June 21.
    • Daytime shoulder closures are expected throughout the project this week.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
