What to expect this week:
- Entrance and exit ramps on the east side of Harding Street at I-465 are NOW OPEN. For more information and timing on the next phase of ramp closures, click here.
- The westbound I-465 exit ramp to Mann Road (Exit 7) is expected to OPEN on or after Wednesday, September 25.
- Expect a nightly single-lane closure on westbound I-465 between I-69/I-465 and Mann Road starting Monday, September 23, through Wednesday, September 25, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work.
- Expect a double-lane closures and 20-minute stops on westbound I-465 between I-65 and US 31/East Street on Friday, September 27, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge beam delivery.
- Expect double-lane closures and 20-minute stops on westbound and eastbound I-465 between Mann Road and I-70 starting at 9 p.m. Friday, September 27, through 5 a.m. Monday, September 30, for milling, paving, and lane-shift operations. Be aware that construction traffic will be entering and exiting the construction site, so travel delays are expected. It is important to drive safely and stay alert while traveling through this section of I-465. The image below shows the limits of this lane closure.

- The southbound US 31/East Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465 will remain closed into late 2024.
Reminders:
- Mowing crews will be in the right-of-way this week, along I-69, between SR 144 and Fairview Road, for fall maintenance and cleanup. Stay alert when driving this section of I-69.
- Expect a right-lane restriction on southbound I-69 between County Line Road and Fairview Road, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, for outside shoulder paving.
- Southport Road over I-69 will be restricted to a single lane in each direction, eastbound and westbound, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27, for traffic-signal modifications. This work will improve signal timing.
- The speed limit along I-69 between SR 144 and Fairview Road is now 55 mph in Johnson County.
- In Johnson and Marion counties, speed limits are still reduced throughout most of the I-69 Finish Line corridor. Please follow all posted speed limits as construction continues through the remainder of 2024.
