What to expect this week:
- Expect intermittent single and double right-lane closures on westbound and eastbound I-465 between I-70 and I-65 on Monday, October 14, through Saturday, October 19, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for median work, cleanup, and paving activities.
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane on westbound and eastbound I-465 between Meridian Street and Madison Avenue on Monday, October 14, through Wednesday, October 16 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for barrier wall removal and lane-shift operations. In addition, the entrance ramp from US 31 southbound to I-465 eastbound will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, October 18, through 5 a.m. on Monday, October 21, westbound I-465 between I-65 and Meridian Street will be reduced to a single lane for concrete patching work. Entrance ramps from I-65 northbound and southbound to I-465 westbound also will be closed during this time.
Reminders:
- The western half of the Harding Street/I-465 interchange CLOSED Monday, September 30, for up to 60 days. This work includes ramp reconstruction for the eastbound I-465 exit ramp to Harding Street, and the Harding Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465. - The southbound US 31/East Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465 will remain closed into late 2024.
Reminders:
- Expect single right-lane closures on Southport Road at Belmont Avenue and Winslet Way on Tuesday, October 15, through Friday, October 18, for traffic signal work.
- The speed limit along I-69 between SR 144 and Fairview Road is now 55 mph in Johnson County.
- In Johnson and Marion counties, speed limits are still reduced throughout most of the I-69 Finish Line corridor. Please follow all posted speed limits as construction continues through the remainder of 2024.
