What to expect this week:
- (Due to weather, this work will begin at a later date).
Belmont Ave. between Edgewood Ave. and Banta Rd.will close on or after Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. for up to 35 days. Local traffic will have access to driveways during the closure. This work will repair and replace asphalt pavement on Belmont Ave.
- I-465 eastbound will be reduced to a single travel lane between Harding St. and Bluff Rd. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. so crews can safely shift traffic onto new pavement.
- For this weekend, expect ramp closures and a single travel lane on westbound I-465 between Kentucky Ave. and I-70, starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, through 5 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25. This double lane closure is needed to safely shift traffic onto new pavement.
- The Kentucky Ave. entrance ramp to I-465 westbound will be closed during the double-lane closure.
Reminder:
- The southbound US 31/East St. entrance ramp to westbound I-465 will remain closed throughout late 2024.
- The entire intersection of Epler Ave. and SR 37, between old Belmont Ave. and SR 37, closed for reconstruction Tuesday, Nov. 12, and will remain closed for up to 45 days.
- The Epler Avenue and Belmont Avenue intersection will be open during this closure.

- Expect a double-lane closure on I-69 southbound so crews can safely shift traffic between Epler Ave. and Southport Rd. starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, through 5 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.
- The speed limit along I-69 between SR 144 and Fairview Road is 55 mph, and between Fairview Road and I-465 is 45 mph.
- In Johnson and Marion counties, speed limits are still reduced throughout most of the I-69 Finish Line corridor. Please follow all posted speed limits as construction continues through the remainder of 2024.
