East side of Harding Street interchange now closed:
The entry/exit ramps on the east side of Harding Street at I-465 are now closed for up to 60 days (mid-October) for reconstruction work.
- I-465 WB exit ramp to Harding Street, NOW CLOSED, and
- Harding Street entrance ramp to I-465 EB, NOW CLOSED.

Lane restrictions:
- I-465 eastbound and westbound between I-65 and I-70 may be reduced to one lane with 20-minute stops nightly from Monday, August 19, through Friday, August 23, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge beam delivery and placement. This single-lane condition is expected to cause delays. Use an alternate route if possible.
Reminders:
- The new I-69/I-465 interchange, located west of Harding Street, is now open to traffic. Learn more about the new interchange here.
- The I-69 Finish Line project team is evaluating the signal timing at Epler Avenue and Harding Street and working to adjust the signals to improve traffic flow.
- The westbound I-465 exit ramp at Mann Road (Exit 7) was closed on Friday, July 26. This closure will last up to 60 days for pavement reconstruction. Motorists needing to access Mann Road from westbound I-465 should exit at Kentucky Avenue/SR 67 (Exit 8). A map of the ramp closure is available here.
- The southbound US 31/East Street entrance ramp to westbound I-465 will remain closed into late 2024.
Reminder:
- The northbound speed limit from Henderson Ford Road to Waverly Road is now 70 mph in Morgan County.
- In Johnson and Marion Counties, speed limits are reduced throughout most of the I-69 Finish Line corridor. Please follow all posted speed limits as construction work continues through the remainder of 2024.
